EAST STROUDSBURG – Junior Sarah Roscioli has been named the Championship Award Guys Athlete of the Week at East Stroudsburg University after contributing to the Warriors' seven school records at last weekend's PSAC Swimming Championships.

Roscioli (Easton/Wilson) broke her own records in the 100 and 200 breast and also swam on the record-setting 400 medley and 400 free relay teams at the conference championships at Cumberland Valley High School in Mechanicsburg.

She holds ESU's records at all three distances in the breast stroke – 50 (31.81), 100 (1:07.99) and 200 (2:30.19) – and has lowered all three records since setting the record in the 100 as a freshman. The record in the 50 had stood since 1972 and was tied in 1978 before she broke it last year.

The Warriors' relays swam times of 3:37.84 in the 400 free and 4:05.62 in the 400 medley. Senior Christine Swiker, ESU's athlete of the week on December 8, swam on both relay teams and set individual records in the 200 fly, 200 IM and 400 IM last weekend.

Roscioli, Swiker and Karen Linck (1975-78) are the only swimmers to currently have five entries on ESU's list of school records, combining individual events and relays.
