In his first year as an assistant coach at East Stroudsburg University, Bob Dubina brings a wealth of experience and a strong track record of success at both the collegiate and high school levels. A lifelong New Jersey resident, Dubina has spent nearly two decades developing players and building winning programs.
Before joining East Stroudsburg, Dubina was an assistant coach for NJIT’s women’s basketball program, starting in May 2016. Prior to NJIT, he led Brookdale Community College’s women’s basketball team as head coach from 2011 to 2016. His tenure at Brookdale was highlighted by an impressive 115-37 record, including a standout 2013-14 season in which the Jersey Blues finished 31-3, won the Region XIX championship, and placed third in the NJCAA Division III National Tournament. His leadership earned him Region XIX Coach of the Year honors.
Dubina’s coaching career extends beyond the collegiate level. He previously coached at Allentown High School, spent two seasons as an assistant coach at Georgian Court University (NCAA Division II), and led the girls’ basketball program at Middletown North High School for three seasons. His coaching journey began in 1997 with AAU teams, laying the foundation for his extensive coaching career.
A graduate of both Brookdale Community College and Monmouth University, Dubina holds a degree in interdisciplinary studies with a concentration in political science and history. Now at East Stroudsburg, he brings his strategic expertise, recruiting connections, and passion for player development to the Warriors' program.
