Rasheed Moore scored 20 points and redshirt senior guard
Quindell Brice had 17 in the final games of their careers as East Stroudsburg University fell at No. 16-ranked Shippensburg, 85-71, in the PSAC men's basketball quarterfinals on Wednesday night at Heiges Field House.
ESU (18-11), which reached its eighth straight PSAC quarterfinal, posted its sixth straight season with at least 18 wins and ninth in 15 years under head coach
Jeff Wilson.
Dustin Sleva had 24 points, 10 rebounds and six assists, John Castello scored 19 points and Justin McCarthur had 16 for Shippensburg (24-3), the PSAC East No. 2 seed, which advances to its second straight PSAC Final Four.
The Warriors won their first round game, 106-87, vs. Lock Haven on Monday night at Koehler Fieldhouse behind a 33-point, 16-rebound effort from Moore and a 17-point night from Brice.
Shippensburg led 39-34 after a tightly-contested first half. The Warriors used a 12-4 run to pull within 49-46 at the 12-minute mark, but Castello and McCarthur both hit three's for Ship in the next minute to help the Raiders extend their lead to double figures.
ESU played its sixth nationally-ranked opponent of the season, the most in school history, facing Shippensburg three times, Kutztown twice and Wheeling Jesuit on the opening weekend of the year. The Warriors posted an 18-5 record against teams that weren't ranked in the NABC DII Top 25.
Moore recorded the 20th 20-point game of his career and his 12th of the season. He concludes his career with 1,677 points and 775 rebounds, both fourth in school history, and can become ESU's first four-time All-PSAC East selection when the all-conference teams are released on Thursday. He scored 522 points, averaging 18.6 per game, as a senior.
Brice hit double figures for the 18th time in 29 games this winter, concluding his two-year career with 583 points. He averaged 11.1 per game this season.

Shippensburg shot 50.0 percent (27-for-54) from the field, 9-for-21 from the three-point line and 22-for-23 (95.7 percent) at the foul line in an efficient performance. The Raiders had a 36-30 rebounding advantage, with ESU holding a 14-10 edge in turnovers.
ESU shot 40.0 percent (26-for-65), 5-for-23 from long distance and 14-for-18 at the foul line. Ship entered as the PSAC leader in both field goal percentage defense (41.7%) and three-point percentage defense (28.9%).
