EAST STROUDSBURG - Senior goalkeeper Jules Harris, senior midfielder Sammi Ortiz, freshman midfielder Haley Skove and sophomore back Hannah Saggese give East Stroudsburg University a region-best four first-team selections on the D2CCA All-Atlantic Region women's soccer team, released Wednesday.

Harris is a three-time first team goalkeeper on the squad, which is nominated and selected by the region's sports information directors.

Ortiz was named to the second team as a junior. Saggese is named in her first season as a starter, and Skove in her first collegiate season.

ESU (15-3-4) will play for the NCAA Division II Atlantic Region title on Friday vs. West Chester (16-3-2) in a match-up of the region's top two seeds, hosted by Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, N.Y.

The Warriors are playing for their second regional title in three seasons after advancing past WV Wesleyan on penalty kicks in the second round on Sunday at Eiler-Martin Stadium.

Harris, Ortiz and Saggese were all named to the All-PSAC first team two weeks ago, and Skove was named third team all-conference.

Harris (Orangeburg, N.Y./Tappan Zee) has compiled a record-setting career in helping lead the Warriors to four consecutive PSAC titles - the first in conference history.

She has a 0.53 goals against average and 0.883 save percentage this fall, breaking her own school records for shutouts (13) and solo shutouts (11).

The PSAC Tournament MVP, Harris blanked regional powers Kutztown in the semifinal and West Chester in the final with a pair of 1-0 wins, making a combined 15 saves. On Sunday vs. WV Wesleyan, she saved the fifth penalty kick to keep the Warriors alive before they advanced, as Harris improved to 3-0 in penalty kicks in her career.

Harris has 41 career shutouts and 35 solo shutouts, tied for the PSAC record, in 83 career starts - posting a 60-15-8 record and 0.68 goals against average.

She has helped ESU to a 14-2-4 postseason record in the last four years, advancing in 17 of its 20 games - including 16 of 18 with Harris starting in goal. The Warriors won the 2015 PSAC and regional titles with a 5-0-1 record in six games, all as the lower seed, before falling 2-0 at Bridgeport in the Elite 8.

Harris has been named to an All-Region team in all four of her seasons - the D2CCA first team in 2014, the NSCAA second team in 2015, and a consensus first team selection in 2016, when she was named PSAC Defensive Athlete of the Year.

Ortiz (Kennett Square, Pa./Unionville), a three-time All-PSAC selection with first team honors the last two years, becomes a three-time All-Region selection. She was on the NSCAA second team in both of the last two years, along with the D2CCA second team last season.

Ortiz garners honors as a defensive midfielder as a senior, helping anchor a group that has allowed just 12 goals (10 non-penalty goals) in 22 games. She has added two assists while controlling both ends of the field for the Warriors.

She has started all 90 games of her career, the most in school history, and has nine goals and seven assists overall. She had four goals and an assist as a junior, three goals and three assists as a sophomore and two goals and an assist as a freshman.

ESU is 65-16-9 in the last four seasons.

Saggese (Oneonta, N.Y./Milford Central) is a first team All-PSAC and All-Region selection in her first season as a starter at right back, where she replaced All-America Hannah Gombos. She has seven assists as an attacking threat, including five - the PSAC record vs. a DII school - in a 9-0 win at California in September.

She played in12 games and made three starts in the midfield as a freshman before moving into a full-time starting role this season, as one of three first-time starters among ESU's back four.

Skove (Lawrenceville, N.J./Notre Dame) has started all 22 games as a freshman, posting six goals and three assists, including the game's only goal in the 77th minute of ESU's 1-0 win vs. West Chester in the PSAC championship game. ESU's top threat in the air, Skove has been a valuable contributor as a two-way midfielder on a team that replaced six starters, including three of the five All-America selections in program history.

Notes:
* Harris is the first 3-time 1st team goalkeeper on the D2CCA Atlantic Region team (previously Daktronics) since complete teams are available (2009).
* ESU has had four 1st team selections in 3 of the last 4 years (2014, 2016, 2017)
