Related: Pocono Classic HistoryEAST STROUDSBURG - East Stroudsburg University is set to host five basketball games over Thanksgiving weekend, as the women's program hosts the 50th Annual Pocono Classic on Saturday and Sunday, followed by the men's team against New Haven on Sunday at 6 p.m.
The Pocono Classic will feature two games on both days with Shippensburg, Concordia (N.Y.) and Dominican (N.Y.) also participating.
Action gets underway Saturday at 3 p.m. with Shippensburg against Concordia, followed by ESU vs. Dominican at 5 p.m. On Sunday, Shippensburg and Dominican tip off at 1 p.m., followed by ESU and Concordia at 3 p.m.
ESU's men's team (3-1), ranked No. 15 in Division II, hosts New Haven (1-2) Sunday night in a match-up of two schools that advanced to the NCAA Tournament in 2014. The Warriors enter with a 38-game regular season home winning streak against non-conference opponents since November 2007.
Sunday night's game will feature two All-Americans in ESU senior guard
Whis Grant (14.8 ppg), the No. 3 active leading scorer in DII with 1,546 career points, and New Haven senior center Eric Anderson (14.3 ppg, 16.0 rpg), coming off a 25-point, 23-rebound game in a 63-56 loss to American International on Tuesday night.

Pocono Classic PreviewESU senior forward
Jessica Martin, the only three-time MVP in Pocono Classic history, leads the Warriors into Saturday and Sunday.
Stacy Perryman (1992-93 and 1994-95) is the only two-time MVP of the women's tournament, which enters its 26th year. There has never been a two-time MVP of the men's tournament, which ran from 1964-65 through 2010-11.
In six career games in the Pocono Classic, Martin is averaging 14.0 points, 9.7 rebounds, 2.8 blocks and 1.1 steals per game with four double-doubles. She has posted 48 points, 27 rebounds, five blocks and three steals in three games against Concordia, which is in the tournament for the fourth straight year. She had 12 points, 14 rebounds and four blocks against Philadelphia University last winter.
Sophomore forward
Allison Howard was named to the All-Tournament team as a freshman last year, contributing 19 points and six rebounds against Philadelphia U.
Redshirt senior guard
Andrea Veres, who received a medical redshirt after playing in six games last year, was named to the All-Tournament team as a sophomore in 2010-11. She scored 18 points, including 11 in the last six minutes, in a 66-62 win over Georgian Court.
Shippensburg is in the tournament for the fourth time, also appearing in 1987-88, 2007-08 and 2009-10.
Concordia will participate for the fourth straight year and sixth time overall. Dominican is making its first appearance at the Pocono Classic.
This marks the fourth year that the Pocono Classic features a women's-only format. The tournament began under the direction of ESU men's basketball coach Ken Sisson in 1964-65.
For ESU (1-1), Martin is a three-time All-PSAC East selection and earned a spot on the first team last winter. She is averaging 12.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.5 blocks through two games this season, and ranks second at ESU and ninth in PSAC history with 214 career blocked shots entering the weekend.
Senior guard
Ryann Fiascki, in her fourth-year as a starter, leads the Warriors with 16.0 points per game, including a career-high 24 points in an 87-74 win at Lock Haven in the season opener last Wednesday.
Sophomore forward
Madison Tamburini (9.0 ppg) scored a career-high 14 points in a 52-49 loss to Millersville on Saturday and is ESU's third-leading scorer. Veres (7.0 ppg), junior guard

Helena Gemmell (5.0 ppg) are also averaging at least five points per game.
Shippensburg (2-2) is led by junior forward Stephanie Knauer, who is averaging 13.0 points and 7.8 rebounds through four games. Sophomore forward Morgan Griffith adds 10.5 points and 11.0 rebounds, allowing with sophomore guards Lauren Gold (10.5 ppg, 3.8 apg) and Colleen Young (10.5 ppg, 5.0 rpg).
The Lady Raiders have two wins over Bowie State (79-55 at home, 88-52 on the road) and losses to Johnson C. Smith (73-67) and Atlantic Region runner-up Bloomsburg (64-57).
Dominican (2-4) is coming off a 69-52 win at Concordia on Tuesday night. Sophomore forward Lisa Bouffard averages 12.8 points and 6.0 rebounds with sophomore guard Shannon McGill scoring 11.0 points and junior guard Deja Gabbidon netting 8.2 points and 7.5 rebounds per game.
Concordia (0-4) is paced by freshman guard Julianne Wilkinson at 14.8 points per game. Freshman forward Hadiyah Black (9.7 ppg, 10.0 rpg) and sophomore guard Jessica Rosalbo (8.5 ppg) also contribute for the Clippers. Senior forward Selbe Lo (7.5 ppg, 6.2 rpg, 2.2 bpg) was named to the All-Tournament team last year.
