2010 Walk-on Tryout and Physical Process Information

The East Stroudsburg Warriors baseball program will conduct tryouts for walk-on players on September 8, 2010. The tryout will begin at 4:00 p.m. at Mitterling Field. All players who wish to try out must send an e-mail to Coach Woodbridge (ksw2709@esu.edu) to be added to the tryout list. Baseball practice for recruited, returning, and players asked from the walk-on tryout will begin on September 9. To be eligible for tryouts and practice please follow the instructions below.

NEW STUDENT-ATHLETES:

All new student-athletes (freshman, transfers, walk-ons) entering ESU are required to have a physical conducted by their family physician or general practitioner within six months of the start of practice. The physical form is included in your orientation packet. In addition, every athlete will be required to complete a re-examination health history questionnaire as well as receive a pre-participation screening conducted by the ESU training staff. The athletic training pre-screen will only be conducted if the student-athlete has a valid pre-participation physical on file with the University health center. Baseball Pre -screening will take place in Koehler Fieldhouse on Sunday, August 29, at 4:15 p.m.

RETURNING STUDENT-ATHLETES:
