EAST STROUDSBURG – The year-in-review edition of the ESU Warriors Sports Report will air next week on Blue Ridge TV-13, debuting on Monday, May 17 at 7 p.m.

Coaches and student-athletes from several of the Warriors sports will revisit the past year and look ahead to the 2010-11 season with the help of Blue Ridge Sports Director Bob Capasso. The hour-long program will be rebroadcast on Wednesday at 9 p.m. and Thursday and Friday at 8 p.m.

The 2009-10 year in ESU athletics included four teams that qualified for NCAA postseason action – football, field hockey, men's basketball and women's tennis – along with PSAC playoff appearances by the football, men's basketball, women's soccer, baseball, softball and lacrosse programs. Several student-athletes also represented ESU at the national level in track and field and wrestling.

The ESU Warriors Sports Report, wrapping up its third year, also includes fall, winter and spring sports previews featuring all of the Warriors' 21 varsity sports.

The 2009-10 season marked the 22nd year that Blue Ridge broadcast ESU football games. The Blue Ridge sports staff has also broadcast selected contests in basketball and wrestling, along with regular coverage of Warriors athletics on its evening news programs.
