EAST STROUDSBURG – East Stroudsburg University junior Katie D'Ambrosia has been named the PSAC East Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week for her performance for the Warriors during their spring trip to Hilton Head, S.C.

D'Ambrosia (Broomall/Marple Newtown) went 3-2 at second singles and 5-0 at first doubles as ESU posted a 3-2 record in five matches to improve to 6-4 on the season.

D'Ambrosia and doubles partner Jamie Ferrigno are 11-3 since the beginning of the fall season, including a 9-1 mark in the Warriors' 10 duals. D'Ambrosia and Ferrigno have been All-PSAC in both of the last two years and have a career record of 37-18.

She is 8-5 in singles this year – 7-3 at the second flight in duals and 1-2 in tournaments – and has compiled a career record of 31-24. She has played at first or second singles in 45 of ESU's 47 duals during her career.

ESU earned wins over Lenoir-Rhyne (7-2), Tiffin (8-1) and Young Harris (9-0) during its spring trip and has three non-conference matches scheduled before beginning PSAC East action on March 30 at Millersville.
