EAST STROUDSBURG – The East Stroudsburg University Department of Athletics is encouraging all downtown business in Stroudsburg and East Stroudsburg to “Paint the Town Red & Black” during Homecoming Week, October 5-10, leading up to the Warriors' football game against Bloomsburg on Saturday at 2:30 p.m.

Participating businesses that decorate their store fronts will have the opportunity to win the “Paint the Town Red & Black” award, which will be voted on by the Warriors' student-athletes. The winning business will receive a traveling trophy and a complimentary athletic department corporate sponsorship package valued at $3,000.

“Paint the Town Red & Black” is designed to showcase businesses as supporters of ESU and its athletic department, enhance the community relationship with ESU and create town spirit.
