AVCA All-Region teams

EAST STROUDSBURG – Junior libero Lindsey Lullo has earned a spot on the AVCA All-Atlantic Region team after ranking eighth in Division II in digs per set during the 2009 season.

Lullo (Naperville, Ill./Neuqua Valley) had 562 digs in 99 sets for the Warriors for an average of 5.68 digs per set, the second-most in the region and the eight-most nationally.

Lullo finished the year with the fifth-most digs in school history and the fourth-highest average after recording at least 10 digs in 24 of her 29 matches. She had at least 20 digs on 14 occasions, and tallied more than 30 digs three times. She also ranked third on the team with 23 aces.

She is one of eight players with at least 1,000 career digs at ESU and will go into her senior year with 1,012 digs in three seasons – one and a half as a starter. Lullo had 154 digs as a sophomore and 296 as a freshman.
