EAST STROUDSBURG – Junior Lindsay Foder has been named East Stroudsburg University's Championship Award Guys Athlete of the Week for her contributions to the Warriors' women's soccer team during the 2009 season.

Foder (Saylorsburg/Pleasant Valley) was a first team All-PSAC East selection at forward after recording seven goals and six assists for the Warriors, who made their third consecutive appearance in the PSAC playoffs.

Foder was a second team All-PSAC East and Daktronics All-Atlantic Region selection in the midfield as a sophomore a year ago and has 18 goals and 15 assists in her career. She will enter her senior year with 16 goals in her last 33 games since moving to forward.

She is also a candidate for Academic All-America honors after earning a spot at forward on the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District first team three weeks ago. She has a perfect 4.0 grade-point average through her first four semesters at ESU and is majoring in Speech Pathology.

Foder was one of two first team All-PSAC East selections for ESU in 2009, along with freshman back Carly Collins. The Warriors will return nine starters as they look for their fourth straight PSAC tournament appearance in 2010.
