Michael Kane have been selected to represent East Stroudsburg University on the All-PSAC East Men's Soccer team, it was announced Tuesday.
Robinson (Westmoreland, Jamaica/Munro College) is the seventh player in school history to earn All-PSAC honors in all four years of his career and led ESU with seven goals and four assists during his senior season. He started 83 games in the midfield and finished his career tied for fifth in school history with 28 assists while leading the Warriors in assists all four seasons.
Robinson is also a two-time ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District selection and was named to the Daktronics All-Region team last year. He joins Wes Gayle (2002-05), Jorge Chapoy (1999-00, 02-03), Sean Stewart (1999-02), Mike Feniger (1993-96), Brent Fenstermacher (1985, 87-89) and Blaz Stimac (1973-76) as Warriors who have been four-time All-PSAC selections.
Pokrywa (Sayreville, N.J./Sayreville War Memorial) was mentioned on the All-PSAC team during his final season after wrapping up a stellar career for the Warriors. He had six shutouts while making a career-high 92 saves as a senior and is second in school history in shutouts (28) and goals against average (0.92) while ranking third with 265 saves. He was the MVP of the PSAC championship game in 2007 and has been on the Daktronics All-Region team the last two years.
Kane (Stroudsburg/Stroudsburg) is also making his first appearance on the all-conference team and has started all 42 games at sweeper over the last two seasons. He helped ESU post a 1.16 goals against average and eight shutouts in front of Pokrywa this year and also contributed three assists. The Warriors went 15-7 and made the PSAC and NCAA playoffs in his first year a starter in 2008.
ESU went 11-8-1 in 2009 and had at least 10 wins for the 26th time in 28 seasons under head coach
Jerry Sheska, who finished the year with 411 career victories.
