Warriors Football Moves Back into AFCA Poll at No. 25

EAST STROUDSBURG – ESU is ranked No. 25 in this week’s AFCA Division II Coaches Poll, its first regular season ranking from the AFCA since the 2006 season. Saturday’s home opener vs. IUP, slated for a 6 p.m. start at Eiler-Martin Stadium, will come four years and nine days after the Warriors’ last game in the AFCA Top 25.

Warriors Post 57-0 Victory at Pace in Football Season Opener

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – Redshirt senior quarterback Matt Marshall threw for 337 yards and a career-high five touchdowns, hitting five different receivers, and the defense forced five turnovers and had nine sacks as ESU opened the 2010 season with a 57-0 win at Pace University on Saturday afternoon.

Pocono Record: Douds Set for 37th Season with the Warriors

EAST STROUDSBURG - It was September 1974, when Denny Douds walked into ESU's Eiler-Martin Stadium as a head coach for the first time.
